About Chris Wray
Simplification
I research and try out the latest productivity tools and software, then help you apply the best of them to your workflow, bringing you the results you want.
Experience is not something you can Google, and that’s why clients like to work with me. You just want to ask questions, and I give you the answers.
Simple really !
Chris Wray – My Story
I’ve spent a career in managing the overlap of people and technology.
This has been managing teams of technical and client facing staff in such technology such as, telecoms, software, e-commerce and development. This work has taken me across the globe, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects as diverse as selling lingerie to helping stop poaching and deforestation. For the most part I’ve been the ‘safe pair of hands’ that takes responsibility for solving problems and delivering results through good tools and most of all good people.
More recently I’ve been researching and testing the myriad of software tools and services that help businesses improve their workflow, increase productivity that ultimately leads to saving time and money. In doing so I’ve created a productivity framework, that when applied, minimises the tools, stress and manual tasks that we’re all so keen to remove to allow us to focus on tasks that add more value.
“Chris took my idea and helped me turn it into a profitable company in less than four months!”
Why Work With Me?
My principal aim is to keep things simple.
As Einstein said ‘Everything should be made as simple as possible…’ The trouble with this is that making complex things simple, is that it’s actually much harder than it looks. Once a process can be made simple however, it can generally become automated.
So that’s what I do. I review your processes, or Workflow as I prefer to describe it, help you simplify that process and then look at how we can automate the repetitive tasks giving you more time to do the tasks that you enjoy and saving you time as a bonus.
My tools of choice are Asana, Google Workspace, Zapier, Notion and Pipedrive, but to understand why I feel these are some of the best tools, I’ve also looked at a lot of their competitors and wannabe’s. So if the software you’re currently using isn’t in this list don’t worry. The same principles generally apply.
Qualifications & Experience
I’m a Prince 2 certified project manager and have been running my own consultancy since 2010. Prior to this I’ve worked in management positions in a number of global technology businesses. In honesty, the technology changes so fast, none of this matters and clients just like the way I work and that we work together to get results.
