What does it mean to work remotely?
Mostly it means being able to communicate to team members, clients and suppliers in a clear and concise way. Providing information in a way where everyone understands the current status and what their deliverables and contributions are. In most cases this is 100% remote. On occasions I will meet with clients for kick-off meetings or important sessions where face-to-face adds significantly more value.

I’ve not always worked remotely. I’ve been a senior project manager, technical project manager and many other delivery focussed roles. I have 30 years of delivering product and service based programmes. This included management of teams of 5 to 250 people.

My Approach To Project Management
We just make fewer human errors now. We no longer need to move data between systems and spreadsheets because everything goes straight into Airtable. Our Airtable Consultant Chris also automated some of our processes so notifications and reports are completed and sent out automatically
We moved our logistics and stock management into Airtable with Chris’ help. Now we don’t have to wait for the overnight updates we can see the status real-time through the dashboard.
