What is the Business OS Starter Kit?

The kit contains ten databases across five layers, already structured and connected. You bring the data.

Layer 1 — Pipeline
The Leads database
Track every lead from first contact to won or lost. Set a Next Action and Next Action Date for each one so nothing goes quiet without a reason.
Path A: Use the Leads database as your primary pipeline.
Path B: Use Pipedrive as your primary tool and the Leads database as a weekly summary record.
The kit supports both approaches, with guidance on which works best for your situation.

Layer 2 — Delivery
Clients, Projects, and Tasks databases
Every client is linked to their projects. Every project is linked to its tasks. Every task has an owner and a due date. You can see the full picture of any client’s work in two clicks.
(Note for Asana users: if your team already uses Asana, you do not need to move your tasks. Use the Clients and Projects databases here for overview and status, and keep Asana for task management.)

Layer 3 — Reporting
The Metrics Tracker database
One place to record what is happening across the business. Active leads, projects in progress, revenue received, SOPs written. At the end of each week or month, you have a clear picture without chasing anyone for an update.

Layer 4 — Finance
Revenue Tracker and Expenses databases
Know what has been invoiced, what has been paid, what is overdue, and what the business is spending each month. Not from a spreadsheet you have to update manually. From a database that is always there when you need it.

Layer 5 — Knowledge
SOPs and Decision Log databases
Every process your business knows how to do, written down and findable. Every significant decision recorded with the context behind it. When someone new joins, the knowledge is already there. When someone leaves, it stays.
