Make.com Consultant
Make.com consulting to automate workflows across marketing, sales, and operations
I’m Chris Wray, a make.com consultant. I help business owners and team leaders connect their tools with Make.com, so the important steps in your workflow happen reliably without someone having to remember, chase, or copy and paste data between apps.
Automation
Why businesses hire a Make.com consultant
Most teams come to me when they have already tried to automate a few things, but it is taking too much effort to keep it running.
Common situations:
– You are moving data between apps every day (forms, CRM, inbox, spreadsheets, accounting)
– Leads are coming in, but follow-up is inconsistent
– Your reporting takes too long because the numbers live in different places
– You have automations, but nobody wants to touch them because they are fragile
– You want to use AI in parts of the workflow, but you want it grounded in a real process
Make.com can solve a lot of this, but only if the scenarios are designed around your workflow and your data.

Testimonials
We’d learnt about Make.com and had a few attempts to link our CRM to our Project Management tool. We just couldn’t get the final steps to work. Chris not only solved the problem, but showed us why it was failing and how we could avoid similar issues on our other workflows..
Chris created a workflow for a task we had being doing manually for months. We must have saved around 8 hours per week by having him automate this for us.
Make.com or Zapier – which one is right for you?
Both Make.com and Zapier connect your tools and automate workflows. The difference is in how they work and what they cost at scale.
Zapier is simpler to get started with. If you have a small number of straightforward automations and your team wants to manage them without much technical knowledge, Zapier is a reasonable choice.
Make.com is more flexible and better value once your automations get more complex. It handles multi-step workflows, conditional logic, and data transformation more cleanly, and the pricing works out significantly cheaper when you are running a high volume of operations.
For most of the businesses I work with, Make.com is the better long-term choice for a joined-up business operating system. But if you are already on Zapier and it is working well, there is no urgent reason to switch.

Does Claude work with Notion and do they play nicely together ?
I use Notion as the operating system for my business. Everything lives there: client projects, task lists, content pipelines, SOPs, revenue tracking. So when I started experimenting with AI agents, the obvious question was: can Claude plug into this system and actually do useful work?
Notion Custom AI Agents – practical workflows, use cases, and pricing questions
If you use Notion every day, the biggest shift with Notion AI Custom Agents is simple: you stop having to ask for help. Instead, an agent can run your instructions automatically on a schedule, or when something happens in a database.
Why I’m building a one-person business
I used to think “the goal” was building something big. A big team. A big office. A big brand. I also used to think that if I did not keep expanding, I was somehow going backwards. Then I remembered something I learned the hard way. In the 90’s and 00’s I managed around 250 people.
International Clients
My client base is international covering all continents. All of my work is conducted online through remote connection and Teams/Zoom/Hangouts sessions. I’ve been working remotely for over 12 years so understand the strengths and weaknesses.
